This afternoon workshop is intended to introduce participants to the main classes of quantum algorithms and will provide example codes that can be run as quantum simulations or directly submitted to IonQ's quantum computers. This course will briefly cover:
Examples will be provided as Jupyter notebooks; to run these codes on IonQ's quantum computers, participants will receive IonQ API tokens (details will be provided to registered users before the workshop).
Basics knowledge of quantum computing is assumed; we suggest to attend the workshop "Practical Quantum Computing" before taking this course.
While the official registration deadline is 10 April 2022, we are currently limiting this workshop to 29 participants on a first-come, first-served basis, and registration will close once the workshop is full.
NOTE: DIT reserves the right to cancel the workshop for any reason with little notice.
