This workshop is intended to introduce new users of the various High Performance Computing (HPC) clusters at the University of Maryland to High Performance Computing (HPC). This workshop is offered it a number of times throughout the year.
This workshop is especially aimed at new users of the University's High Performance Computing clusters (Zaratan and Juggernaut clusters), especially those with no or limited HPC experience. This course will introduce participants to the basics of high-performance computing (HPC), and will briefly cover:
Much of the above tasks will be discussed in terms of the OnDemand web portal for the cluster.
There are no prerequisites for this workshop. This is an introductory workshop and is targeted at new users of our clusters, so no previous knowledge of high performance computing is assumed.
