Granular materials commonly occur in nature, as well as in industrial applications. Numerical studies on interactions of granular materials involves computationally expensive processes such as contact detection and force computations amongst others. In this presentation, methods to reduce the computational expense for numerical simulations and outcomes will be discussed.
Slides will be available for download here after the presentation.
