MARCC ("Mar-SEE") is a joint effort between Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland, College Park, providing researchers with broad computing capabilities including high performance parallel file systems and general compute nodes, large memory systems, and modern GPU offerings. This presentation is a general services overview and focused on transformative research, with our research plans for 2018-2019.

Kevin Manalo has been working in the HPC field for 5 years, with his current role as Senior Software Engineer at the Maryland Advanced Research Computing Center at Johns Hopkins University, currently leading software management on MARCC cluster resources. He received his Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2013.
