The talk will describe design and development of programmable network fabrics for heterogeneous adaptive computing environments. Integration of MPI with OpenFlow using custom labels and programming abstractions towards achieving adaptive computing will be described.

Venkat R. Dasari, Ph.D., is a scientist at the Computational Science Division, U.S. Army Research Laboratory, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005. Previously, he worked both in the Government and private sectors in development of programmable network protocols and architectures. He has advanced degrees in Biology and Computer Sciences. His current interests are focused on programmable adaptive computing abstractions, algorithms, distributed computational Intelligence and quantum network applications.
