General usage information

HemoCell is a parallel framework for the simulation of dense deformable capsule suspensions, with a special emphasis on blood flows and blood related vesicles.

This package will add the various HemoCell scripts to your PATH.

The following environmental variables have been defined:

• \$HEMOCELL_ROOT has been set to the root of the hemocell installation
• \$HEMOCELL_LIBDIR points to the directory containing the libraries
• \$HEMOCELL_INCDIR points to the directory containing the header files

You will probably wish to use these by adding the following flags to your compilation command (e.g. to CFLAGS in your Makefile):

• -I\$HEMOCELL_INCDIR

and the following flags to your link command (e.g. LDFLAGS in your Makefile):

• -L\$HEMOCELL_LIBDIR -Wl,-rpath,\$HEMOCELL_LIBDIR

The HEMOCELL_ROOT environmental variable is set to the root of the installation directory. That root directory has subdirectories cases, examples, data, tools, etc. where the various cases, example codes, etc. can be found.
