General usage information

freebayes is a Bayesian genetic variant detector designed to find small polymorphisms, specifically single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), indels (insertions and deletions), multi-nucleotide polymorpisms (MNPs) and complex events (composite insertion and substitution evens) smaller than the length of a short-read sequencing alignment.

This module will add the freebayes and bamleftalign commands to your PATH.
